Ranong gets landslide warnings

The Ranong provincial administration on Friday warned residents of three areas of possible landslides after heavy downpours.

Ranong governor Jatupoj Piyumputra said the three areas have seen over 100mm of rain for the past 12 hours.

One of the areas is Ban Huay Nam Sai village in Tambon Ratchakood in Muang district with 110mm of rainfall reported, Jatupoj said.

Ban Khao Nang Nong village in Tambon Pak Nam in Muang district was also warned of possible landslides after 100mm of rain.

Ban Bang Yai in Tambon Bang Phra Nua in La-oon district received 113mm.
