Police come to aid of 200 flooded households in Nakhon Phanom

Police on Tuesday delivered drinking water, instant noodles and other necessities to 200 families whose homes in two Nakhon Phanom villages have been inundated by floodwaters for two weeks.

Deputy police commissioner Weerachai Songmetta led a team of officers and volunteers to hand over relief supplies to the families in Moo 4 and Moo 6 villages in Tambon Tha Bor Songkhram, Si Songkhram district.
Weerachai said the Royal Thai Police had mustered donations to buy over 10,000 bottles of drinking water and 500 boxes of instant noodles to hand over to the villagers.
