The Shirrine Clinic at Chamchuri Square shopping centre in Bangkok this week came to the aid of a Chinese man who was left penniless after a Thai condominium broker allegedly swindled him out of almost Bt1 million.

The clinic offered him Bt10,000 in cash and whatever necessities he requires while Phra Khanong police look into the matter.

The victim, who has a baby boy with him, is also suffering from cancer.

After learning of his plight on the Tourist Police Bureau’s Facebook page and other media, the clinic contacted police to provide humanitarian assistance.
