Pathum Thani man found dead in temple
A 46-year-old man was found dead inside a temple in Pathum Thani Monday morning. He had been missing for several days.
Police said Chaiyarit Phumchao, 46, was discovered sitting on a chair under a raised public utility pavilion of Bang Toey Klang temple in Tambon Bang Toey Klang of Pathum Thani’s Sam Khok district.
His motorcycle and his clothes were found beside him.
His mother, Paen Phumchao, 67, told police that Chaiyarit normally stayed at his girlfriend’s house or his mother's house but had not returned home for several days.
Paen said she did not know what had prompted Chaiyarati to stay at the temple.
His body was sent for an autopsy at the hospital of Thammasat University’s Rangsit campus.
