A thief who targeted motels has been interviewed by police while he wore a full-face helmet.

A bag containing his stolen goods matched the helmet’s rainbow design.

The 34-year-old, known as Suttheerak or "most darling”, was arrested in Lopburi with televisions, remotes, phones, towels, pillowcases and women’s underwear.

He admitted to travelling the northeast on his Yamaha Mio motorcycle stealing from motels that did not ask for his Thai ID card.

He reportedly said his thefts started in Buriram in July last year when he stole a TV from a resort belonging to the well-known country singer Yinglee Srijumpol, who sang the hit "Khor Jai Laek Ber Thoo" (Your heart for my phone number).
