Unidentified body found in sea off Trat
A decomposed body of unidentified man believed to be a missing Cambodian worker was found floating in the Gulf of Thailand off Trat coast on Thursday morning, police said.
The body was spotted about one kilometre away from the Laem Sok pier in Tambon Ao Yai at 9.30am.
A fishing boat skipper, Uthane Trongchuen, earlier filed a report with police that his Cambodian worker, Tia, 26, fell from the boat and disappeared on Monday night.
Police called Uthane to check, but the body was decomposed beyond recognition so police have sent the body for DNA tests to confirm the identity.
