Wong Brother Co expects its sales of imported filter films to increase 25 per cent this year thanks to the trend of remodelling homes to protect them from sunlight.

Managing director Chairat Chuprapawan said yesterday that the company targeted sales of Bt12 million to Bt15 million in the final quarter of this year to boost its full-year revenue to Bt50 million from Bt40 million last year. - The Nation

Safta amended

New amendments were made to the Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement that will give Singaporean companies and investors in Australia greater certainty in their investments.

Changes made in the latest review of Safta will also give more protection to investors' intellectual property, the Singaporean Ministry of Trade and Industry said yesterday.

Changes include the right to due process in legal proceedings as well as police protection.  - The Straits Times/ANN
