IEAT plans "power" industrial estate

The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) plans to develop an industrial estate specifically for power generating, to cope with higher energy demand from the industrial sector.
Monta Pranootnorapal, the governor of the IEAT, noted that the industrial estate would also serve investors who could not proceed with their power generating projects due to opposition.
She said that the IEAT will work with related agencies such as the Metropolitan Electricity Authority and Provincial Electric Authority.
