KTB nods to Nok Air stake sale to THAI

Apisak Tantivorawong, president of KTB, said the board last week approved the sale of 5 million shares, or 10 per cent of Nok Air, to THAI for Bt165 million. However, THAI had not yet replied as to whether it would accept the price.
The share price of Bt33 is the same amount for which Nok Air chief executive officer Patee Sarasin bought a stake in the airline from other shareholders.
KTB decided to discount the share price by 25 per cent, from Bt44 to Bt33.
THAI previously wanted a 20-per-cent discount.
Thai Airways holds 39 per cent of Nok Air and wants to increase the stake to 49 per cent.
