Thana reportedly quits MC Jeans for Grammy

Thana Thienachariya, chief executive officer of local jeans label Mc Jeans, has reportedly tendered his resignation from the company effective December.

A source in the broadcasting industry said Thana was expected to join GMM Grammy’s satellite TV business.
Thana declined to comment on the matter.
GMM Grammy chairman Paiboon Damrongchaitham said recently that Thana was advising him on the TV business, and that Paiboon was awaiting a final decision from Thana on whether he would work for him full-time.
Marketing whiz Thana formerly worked as a marketing executive for Total Access Communication (DTAC). He was appointed chief executive at PK Garment (Import-Export), the manufacturer and distributor of Mc Jeans, early this year.
GMM Grammy runs the satellite-television business 1 Sky, a broadcasting platform and producer of sports content.
