PTT sells Bt20bn bonds in Jan

PTT Plc sets to sell its Bt20 billion bonds in January, on confidence that the strong corporate financial profile would ensure sufficient demand.

The bond issue was postponed from late of this year, because of the flooding.
PTT chief financial officer Tevin Vongvanich said that the bond would be issued in two tranches; the first with 3 years and 9 months maturity and the second with 6 years and 10 months maturity. The bonds would be sold through Bangkok Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Bank of Ayudhya, Kasikornbank, TMB Bank, Siam Commercial Bank and Thanachart Bank.
During Jan 12-13, subscription would be open for non-institutional investors who hold PTT bonds which mature in 2011. During Jan 17-18, the second tranch would be offered to individual investors holding PTT bonds of other maturities.
During Jan 19-20, the bonds would be offered to investors in general and allocation would be on random.
