Under the contract signed today, power would be supplied from TJ Cogen, TP Cogen and SK Cogen projects.
"Each will sell 90MW to EGAT for a 25-year term with the scheduled commercial operation date on
June 1, 2017, 2018 and 2019 respectively," said Sahust Pratuknukul, president EGCO Group.
TJ Cogen is located in Pathum Thani while TP Cogen and SK Cogen are in Ratchaburi. Each has installed capacity of 125MW.
"The investment in SPP projects is in line with EGCO’s strategic direction and aspiration to add
value to EGCO and its shareholders. It will also strengthen long term power security for Thailand.” Sahust added.
