Makro gift gaskets meet rules

In his capacity as the chairperson of the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB), Surawit Khonsomboon, Minister of the Prime Minister's Office, recently led an official OCPB team to survey new year gift baskets at Makro Samsen Store.
Pariyanuch Na Taguatung, marketing Director of Siam Makro Plc, welcomed the OCPB team on the joint survey.
The team found Makro gift baskets meet OCPB’s stringent quality standards, which mandate clear display of full particulars of consumer goods and expiry dates. Consumers who are not satisfied with the purchased gift baskets can have them replaced by February 2012 on presentation of relevant receipts and gift basket tags.
