Paradise Park's event budget set at Bt300m

Paradise Park shopping centre on Srinakarin Road has earmarked Bt300 million for a series of marketing and promotion campaigns to boost sales growth to 15 per cent this year.

“This year, we have prepared four major promotions for the summer festival, midyear sales, school break and year-end festive celebration,” Muenfan Thanayaphasit, assistant managing director for business promotion, said yesterday.
Muenfan added that she would focus on additional promotions during weekdays at the shopping complex to boost customer traffic. Family groups are the key target for the campaigns.
Currently, there are about 60,000 to 80,000 visitors a day at the mall on weekdays, while during weekends, daily customer traffic surges to 80,000 to 100,000 people.
She added that sales promotions with strategic partners would be another marketing activity to increase sales and visitor traffic at the mall. The Paradise Park Midnight Sale from February 23-26 is an example of this kind of activity. Paradise Park joins forces with leading manufacturers such as Osotspa, Berli Jucker and Saha Pathanapibul to offer an array of products, ranging from daily use to fashion products with discounts for all visitors, while members of True Card and Thai Life Assurance will also get special offers.
Additionally, there are about 700 tenants offering up to 90-per-cent discounts on more than 1,200 brands. During the four-day Paradise Park Midnight Sale, visitors will also get the chance to win lucky draws.
Muenfan said Paradise Park would spend Bt15 million to promote the event and expected to see traffic rise by 30 per cent during the campaigns and sales for each tenant to double.
“We expect the overall sales at our Paradise Park shopping complex to increase by 15 per cent for the full period this year,” she said.
Additionally, Paradise Park is the first joint-venture mall handled by MBK – which operates the MBK shopping mall – and Siam Piwat, the operator of Siam Centre and Siam Discovery Centre.
