3 banks to finance THAI's aircraft acquisition

Thai Airways International Plc (THAI) has recently concluded the deal with three foreign banks for the financing of Airbus A330-300 (MS 1289) aircraft acquisition.



 The three banks are BNP Paribas, the Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), and Sumitomo Mitsui Bangkok Corporation (SMBC).
 The value of the aircraft is not disclosed.
 According to THAI President Piyasvasti Amranand, the aircraft forms part of THAI’s 2011-2014 investment plan for improving production and financial performance.
