Bourses to close on April 9

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Group, including the Market for Alternative Investment (mai), Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX) and Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX), will be closed on Monday, April 9, 2012.
This is in response to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s declaration that April 9 is a special holiday for securities companies and derivatives firms.
The holiday follows the government policy to allow the public to pay their last respects to Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana, whose royal cremation will take place on the date.
