Four Lumia models will be launched in Thailand, targeting different consumer groups. The Lumia 800 and 710 are now available here, while the much-hyped Lumia 900 and 610 are coming next month.
Grant McBeath, managing director of Nokia Thailand and Emerging Asia, said yesterday that with strong partners and products, Lumia would be successful here. Marketing efforts this year would focus on encouraging local consumers to try out these new models.
Nokia Thailand recognises that it is not the No 1 player in the smart-phone segment but it is still No 1 in sales volume here, he added.
The Lumia 900 is priced at Bt18,000, the Lumia 800 at Bt15,400, Lumia 710 at Bt9,000 and Lumia 610 at Bt7,400.
