WHA debuts on SET tomorrow

WHA Corporation will start trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand tomorrow after its Bt1.71-billion initial public offering.

WHA is a developer of factory and warehouse centres. Its properties are mostly on main logistical routes with easy access to Suvarnabhumi Airport or Laem Chabang deep-sea port.
WHA offered 129.4 million shares in the IPO, at Bt13.25 apiece, indicating a price-to-earnings ratio of 30.81 times. The proceeds are to boost its working capital.
“Selling the company’s shares to the general public and listing on the SET are another crucial step in raising funds for the company,” said Somyos Anantaprayoon, president and chief executive officer of WHA Corp.
“This will help boost our potentiality and financial strength to cope with business expansion. We have committed to maintain our reputation in developing premium grade built-to-suit projects and aim to be among the top in Asia in our field.”
