To support Muang Thong Thani city and building on a successful relationship that has developed steadily over the past five years, Impact has invited French group Sodexo to become its strategic partner in delivering property management services to the properties under the Bangkok Land portfolio.
Impact managing director Paul Kanjanapas confirmed that as a first step the company would start by managing two of Bangkok Land’s projects: the commercial shop houses at Avenue 99, and the low-rise Double Lake luxury condominium project.
Additional commercial and retail properties to be completed by Bangkok Land during 2013/2014, such as the Bee Hive neighbourhood mall, will also be added to the agreement.
“We know that buyers, be they residential or commercial, want three areas covered professionally: complete management and maintenance of each property, security, and cleanliness both within and outside each property, including landscaping.
“By ensuring high standards of services and controls, both residents in the area and visitors can see and gain value in real terms. Of course, this will mean that Muang Thong Thani will have an even greater appeal in the future,” he said.
“We have seen, over the past two years, new developers and real-estate properties coming to the area, with permanent residents now exceeding 200,000. Major businesses in the satellite city include Kasikornbank, the Defence Ministry and True Corp, to name just a few,” Paul added.
Stuart Winters, chief executive officer of Sodexo Thailand, said Sodexo had been providing facility management services to Impact since 2008 and had recently expanded its scope to housekeeping services.
