Marrut Manistitya, the new managing director of Hitachi Data Systems (Thailand), said the firm had officially appointed him on March 25.
The company this year plans to offer such solutions as virtualised storage and the new Hitachi Data Instance Manager (HDIM), a software platform that maps and optimises specific instances of data throughout the data cycle. It also provides a holistic approach to solving customers’ instance-management challenges – from laptops to protection, and from remote to office in cloud.
The solutions will help customers lower the costs of investment and improve efficiency of their business, Hitachi claims.
The company moreover will cooperate with business partners in terms of hybrid marketing, including final-tier or system integrator (SI) and distributor channels.
Marrut said the factors that would drive business growth this year included unstructured data, cloud computing, and BYOD (bring your own devices).
The company will focus its offerings of storage and solutions on the financial and banking, telecommunications, healthcare, energy and government sectors.
