On next Tuesday, the Finance Ministry plans to ask for the Cabinet's approval for a draft law, designed to support Thai companies' participation in overseas trade fairs. The companies can deduct 100 per cent of the expenses from their taxable income. The expenses involved space rents, insurance, and the cost of shipments of materials for the exhibitions.
If becoming law, the deduction would be allowed for expenses paid during Jan 1, 2013 through December 31, 2014. Thai companies will be entitled to deduct their corporate taxes with expenses, incurred by their participation in overseas trade fairs.
