ITU's MIS report to be released tomorrow

International Telecom Union (ITU) will release its 2013 Measuring the Information Society (MIS) report tomorrow at an event attended by the ICT minister and chairman of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission.
MIS is ITU’s annual analysis on the state of ICT access, use, skills and affordability, and also features the latest on market developments in the industry. The report presents the latest results of the ICT Development Index (IDI), an international benchmarking tool that ranks countries according to their ICT achievements. It also features the ICT Price Basket (IPB), which tracks and compares the cost of ICT services across more than 160 countries.
This year’s MIS report presents the first complete price data collection for mobile-broadband services, a model to measure the world’s “digital native” population and a quantitative overview of digital TV broadcasting trends.
