Attack hurts market sentiment

Stock investors were spooked by the bomb attack against anti-government protesters in Banthad Thong at noon on Friday.
When the afternoon session started, the SET index were 12 points below the morning close.
At 3.59pm, the index stood at 1,291.57 points, down by 9.91 points or 0.76 per cent from the previous closing. Turnover was thin at Bt25.5 billion.
Yesterday, the index gained 1.91 per cent to 1,301.48 points. Foreigners sold Thai shares for Bt1.83 billion net yesterday, pushing their month-to-date net sell to only Bt312 million.
