Cabinet to consider 2 train proposals

The Cabinet is expected to consider the proposed Pink electric train line tomorrow, said Transport Permanent Secretary Soithip Traisuth.

The train line will cost over Bt50 billion in investment. It will connect Khae Lai and Min Buri.
Soithip also said today that the Cabinet would also be asked to approve the new design of the Red Line (Bang Sue-Rangsit), which would require an extra budget of Bt5 billion. The project is currently estimated to cost over Bt70 billion.
