SET plans more road shows

The Stock Exchange of Thailand is hosting road shows in the United States, Singapore and Malaysia, to cash in on the recovery in foreign investor confidence.
SET President Kesara Manchusree said that foreign investor confidence has improved thanks to concrete economic policies. Foreign investors have been net-buyers of Thai shares for three consecutive months, from July to September.
She said that the road shows to the three countries would be the last of this year, following eight inbound and outbound roadshows so far this year. They will be joined by about 20 listed companies.
She added that the road shows have been a success, reflecting through more investment from the destination countries particularly Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
