Tesco Lotus reaches out to busy modern consumers through its 'One Stop' services

The retail giant said it offered bill payment, mobile and games top-up, photocopy and fax services, as well as parcel services and ticketing at more than 10,000 service points nationwide.
New technology is being constantly added for greater convenience such as bill payment without a physical bill, while more than 30 kinds of bill transactions have zero payment fees, it said.
“To offer the greatest convenience to today’s busy consumers, Tesco Lotus has brought together in one place five core services, including … bus or concert ticketing,” chief financial officer Harjeet Drubra said.
“We also constantly invest in new technology to cater to modern digital lifestyles such as using a QR [quick response] code obtained by smartphone to process bill payments without a physical bill. In addition, customers can now pay overdue bills of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority at Tesco Lotus.”
Drubra said Tesco Lotus had offered bill-payment and top-up services for more than seven years, continually adding services for the convenience of customers with a service fee of Bt7 for services with no fee.
He said these services had become increasingly popular, with more than 10 million transactions per month.
Tesco Lotus had developed the “One Stop” brand to increase customer awareness that they could do all of their essential daily errands at a single Tesco Lotus store.
The copying, faxing, parcel and ticketing services are available at the Money Centre and the Service Centre in large Tesco Lotus stores including selected Talad and Express stores for a total of 500 stores.
“After the launch of One Stop, Tesco Lotus will continue to develop and add new services,” Drubra said. “For instance, we have started offering travel services at the One Stop Service Counter including passenger tickets on Lion Air flights, package tours and boat tours.
“Tesco Lotus will also continue our strong positioning of price leadership and nationwide service points.”
