PTT plans investment cut

PTT Group has put its investment plan under review, with the possibility that the sum would be cut in line with slowing economic activities.

This year, the investment budget is originally set at Bt77.28 billion.
Surong Bulakul, chief operating officer for PTT's infrastructure, said that the revision should be completed in August.
He said that the investment budget is likely to be cut while the group's focus would be more concentrated in Asia particularly Asean.
He also revealed that PTT is negotiating with partners to invest in an LNG terminal in Myanmar.
