The fair called "Good Goods Japan, Jetro Business Matching in Bangkok" will be held on October 8 by the Japan External Trade Organisation.
Masayasu Hosumi, president of the Jetro Bangkok, said that the event would provide these operators and local Thai entrepreneurs with opportunities to create business alliance, open new markets and introduce new unique products with function-orientation to the
local Thai market. Pre-registration is required.
Highlighted items in the event include home decor, IT equipment, fashion garments, ornaments, health & wellness products, and others.
"Participants can expect to see unique goods from Japan made by authentic Japanese artisans," Hosumi said, adding that these quality products have never been sold before in Thailand.
Japanese entrepreneurs are encouraged to expand their business in Thailand, he added, due to the currently weak yen and high popularity of Japanese products among Thai buyers.
The event is the fourth of its kind, which helped raise Japanese exports to Thailand. More than 100 Japanese companies took part in the previous three events.
