Impact Exhibition unit expands into frozen bakery products

IMPACT Exhibition Management Co, the operator of Impact Muang Thong Thani, is expanding into food and beverages by introducing over 100 French-style frozen bakery products to meet the diverse needs of customers.

The new business is expected to boost revenue by 5-10 per cent this year from Bt314 million last year. Lawrence Tan, F&B director, said F&B revenue mainly came from the seminar and conference segment. Its coffee break service, for example, has served over 2 million sets.
The centre had already introduced some healthy bakery products to customers before extending into frozen products.
Bread and pastry products alone generated sales of Bt26.1 million last year. “To maintain the growth of F&B and strengthen healthy bakery products, we are now offering frozen bakery products that can be stored for a long time and easily reheated for quick service,” he added.
Impact plans to sell frozen bakery and pastry products in restaurants under its management including Thai restaurant Manorah; Chinese restaurants Hong Kong Fisherman and Hong Kong Cafe; Japanese restaurants Tsubohachi, Taisho-Tei Ramen and Ito-Kacho; and fusion-styled restaurants Terrazza, Bistro De Champagne, Noodle Nation and Flann O’Brien’s Irish Pub.
It operates 21 branches located in and outside the exhibition centre.
Ruechatchai Phlangsoosirichai, pastry chef at Impact Bakery, said ready-to-bake products could keep for up to six months.
Customers can decorate the products with unlimited creative designs for their own brands.
