Samsung announces hot deals for “Samsung Pay” users
Samsung Pay and its financial partners are currently providing a number of exclusive privileges and promotional offers to users who make payment transactions using a partnered credit card via Samsung Pay as per following details, Thai Samsung Electronics said.
According to a press statement from Thai Samsung Electronics, the hot deals from four bank partners are:
- Citibank cards – Five-fold reward points for every payment transaction of 1,000 baht or more through
- Kasikornbank cards – 100-baht cash back for every payment transaction of 100 baht or more
- KTC cards – 5% cash back with special privileges from participated shops
- SCB cards – 100-baht cash back for every payment transaction of 200 baht or more for three consecutive months for at least five time in each accounting period.
Samsung Pay has already been available in Thailand since October 27th. Samsung Pay enables new-generation people to use their smartphone as credit cards. Supported payment gateways and credit cards for Thai users are Visa and MasterCard issued by six financial institutions namely Bank of Ayudhya, Citibank, KasikornBank, KTC, Siam Commercial Bank, and Bangkok Bank (available from December 15th).
Samsung Pay is compatible to all six compatible Galaxy smartphone models marketed in Thailand including the Galaxy S7, the Galaxy S7 edge, the Galaxy S6 edge+, the Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy A7 (2016) and the Galaxy A5 (2016).
