JET AIRWAYS APPOINTS NEW BOSS FOR THAILAND AND INDOCHINA

Fast-growing Indian international airline Jet Airways recently announced the appointment of Aldrin Kenneth as country manager for Thailand and Indochina.

An industry veteran with more than 17 years of experience with global airlines, Kenneth joined Jet Airways as the area manager for Dubai/Sharjah and Northern Emirates in 2008 and helped establish and strengthen the airline’s footprint in the United Arab Emirates.
In his role as country manager for Thailand and Indochina, Kenneth will be responsible for Jet Airways’ performance in the region including its commercial aspects and overall operations.
He is expected to leverage his experience not only to use innovative means to grow the business but also to take steps to engage with key consumer communities to strengthen the airline’s brand and value propositions in the rapidly growing, fast-paced travel market between Thailand and India.
Colin Neubronner, senior vice president for sales and marketing at Jet Airways, said Kenneth’s immense contribution towards strengthening the airline’s presence and market share in the Persian Gulf and UAE markets was laudable.
“We look forward to his working with our leadership team to execute our growth strategy in the region,” he said.
Kenneth will be based in Bangkok and will report to Neubronner. –The Nation
