Six projects worth Bt600 bn to be fast-tracked

The Public Private Partnership Policy Committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak on Wednesday agreed to fast rack six infrastructures projects worth Bt600 billion.

They include Bangkok's mass-transit Purple Line extension (Tao Poon to Kanchanapisek ring road), the East-West mass-transit Orange Line and the mass-transit railway route from Phuket International Airport to the five-way intersection at Chalong.
Also to be fast tracked are the Nakhon Pathan-Cha-am highway, the Bangkok-Rayong high-speed railway and the mass-transit railway project in Chiang Mai province.
