Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) launches brand’s latest plug-in hybrid saloon

Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Co Ltd has launched the E 350 e, its latest Plug-in Hybrid saloon under the “EQ – Electric Intelligence by Mercedes-Benz” concept.

Positioned in Mercedes-Benz’s contemporary luxury line, the company said the E 350 e “features exceptional performance, class-leading automotive technologies, reliable safety innovations, and a nominal CO2 emission level at only 49-57 g/km”.
It is available in three trim levels - Avantgarde (Bt3.49 million), Exclusive (Bt3.79 million), and AMG Dynamic (Bt4.09 million).

“Today, we enhance our reputation as the best and well-rounded electric vehicle brand with a latest addition to the brand ‘EQ – Electric Intelligence by Mercedes-Benz’. 
“The E 350 e, introduced after the launch of both the S 500 e and the C 350 e to Thai customers last year, is a plug-in hybrid saloon which perfectly completes the electric vehicle range in our contemporary luxury category.”
Mercedes said the E 350 e boasts an average fuel consumption of 40-47.62 km/l in hybrid mode.
It said the car can be driven for up to 33 kilometres in EV or pure electric mode. 
The four-cylinder engine works with an electric motor to generate a combined rated output at 210 kW (286 hp) and a peak torque at 550 Nm, it said.
