Nostra Map ready to help SMEs, start-ups chart winning strategies
Nostra Map Thailand will show entrepreneurs and business start-ups at a free seminar on June 13 how to use its high-definition digital maps in product and service development to gain an edge over competitors.
The “SME Start Smart with Nostra” seminar that afternoon at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre will also feature an exchange of business strategies with the focus on responding to consumer behaviour and technology trends.
GlobeTech general manager Wichai Saenghirunwattana noted that SME and start-up operations tend to be highly flexible, but they often require clear business strategies to develop and market their products and services.
It’s a business segment with more room to grow and can be easily aligned with today’s fast-changing trends, he said.
The government’s Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion predicts that SME gross domestic product is likely to be measured at Bt6 trillion for 2016, representing 4.8-per-cent growth and accounting for 42.1 per cent of the national GDP.
It is expected that SMEs business will grow at better than 5 per cent this year.
