1,700 - POINT FINISH SEEN

The Stock Exchange of Thailand Index could hit 1,700 points at the end of this year after closing up 0.17 per cent at 1,616.16 yesterday, according to UOB Asset Management.
Turnover was Bt53.06 billion.
The company said the economy shows potential to grow up to 3.6 per cent this year, while politics looks to remain stable in the rest of the year.
These are the main factors pushing the SET Index to range between 1,590 and 1,650 and maybe achieving 1,700 by year-end.
