Mega Bang Na sponsors relay race for at-risk youth
Mega Bang Na Shopping Centre will host the “Mega Relay 2017” race on November 12 from 4am to 9am at Mega Bang Na. The event is meant to promote good health through exercise and promote team-building.
Net proceeds will go to Baan Tawan Mai Foster Home under the Pol General Pow Sarasin Foundation to improve the quality of life of young people and combat drug abuse among teenagers.
Mega Bang Na's fourth annual race “Mega Relay 2017” is the first relay, which is intended to promote teamwork and self-discipline, with the winners evaluated on average time of each relay runner.
The race is divided into three categories:
1. 4X10 kilometres: A female, male or mixed team of four running 10km each. The admission fee is Bt3,600.
2. 4X5km: A female, male or mixed team of four running five kilometres each. Admission fee is Bt2,400.
3. 2X5km: A female, male or mixed team of two running five kilometres each. Admission fee is Bt1,200.
The race will take place on the outbound Bang Na-Trad Road. Traffic will be shut down from Bang Na Intersection to Bang Na-Trad Road kilometre 8 from 4am to 9am.
