Robinson’s VP expects retail excitement to return

Robinson’s expects the “retail industry’s excitement” will return before the end of the year, said Anawat Sangkhasap, senior vice president, customer strategy for Robinson Plc.

And the retail giant is gearing it for it.
“Robinson plans to spend over Bt100 million in marketing to introduce various marketing campaigns and activities towards the end of the year,” Anawat said. Starting this month, the beginning of the high season, the company’s marketing department will spend more than Bt5 million to introduce a “RobinsOn Travel & Leisure” campaign.
The campaign will include a hashtag – #ShopChillFeelWinter – and bring up to 50 per cent discounts to all quality products in every floor and department.
Privileged card members will be eligible to win jewellery and for discounts. All Robinson KTC customers can access an exclusive promotion of 20 per cent discount on Fridays through Sundays.
In addition, “Robinson Tumdee” will join hands with Heavy, a shoe brand, to invite all shoppers to send new students’ shoes to underprivileged children under the “Robinson weaves dreams for kids” activity, by buying the shoes to donate at Bt99 (down from the regular price of Bt250) and adding a personal wish on the card for the children.
This campaign is available at all Robinson Department Store and Robinson Lifestyle Shopping Center from 1 – 30 November 2017.
“We hope to receive great positive feedback from shoppers nationwide and hope to be part of the economic stimulation and growth in Thailand,” Anawat said.
