Thai’s tasty profit
Thai Airways International’s catering service business expects total revenue growth of 5 per cent year next year from the forecast of total revenue of Bt7 billion this year, according to Varangkana Luerojvong, THAI managing director, catering department.
The business is expected to post a profit of Bt2 billion this year. In the third quarter it posted a profit of Bt1.45 billion – higher than its entire profit last year, which was Bt1.4 billion.
The business recently launched a food truck under its wellknown Puff & Pie food and beverage brand as part of its plan to boost revenue. It aims to launch an additional 90 trucks next year on a franchise basis.
