Conference examines future of hospitality

Dusit Thani College in Bangkok is hosting the Gracious Hospitality & Tourism International Conference 2017, which focuses on the sharing of academic insights and research, as well as practical experiences, from world-renowned speakers.

According to the college, the speakers come from both public and private sectors and they will “work out solutions to upgrade the tourism and hospitality industry, including raising the bar for ‘gracious Thai hospitality’ in the modern 4.0 era”.
Sarote Phornprapha, president of Dusit Thani College and director of Dusit Education Thailand Operations, said theme of the conference, from November 29 to December 1, would be “gracious hospitality and tourism towards 2030”.
Sarote said attendees would be able to “reflect on how players in different regions and countries make use of their unique hospitality to impress customers”.
Guests will include entrepreneurs, coordinators, tourists, academics and individuals seeking to pursue self-development.
The college said in a press release that the event would “raise the bar for Hospitality 4.0 in the modern/international context, where communications and social networking play a big role in influencing the evaluation and decision-making by entrepreneurs and customers”.
