Review of FTSE SET Index Series sees stocks on the move
The FTSE Russell and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) have announced the results of the December semi-annual review of the FTSE SET Index Series.
The index series is reviewed twice a year in accordance with the index ground rules.
As a result of this review, Energy Absolute Plc (EA) has been added to the FTSE SET Large cap Index, while B. Grimm Power Plc (BGRIM), Origin Property Plc(ORI), Prima Marine pcl (PRM), Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Plc(RATCH), RS Plc (RS) and TOA Paint Thailand Plc (TOA) have been added to the FTSE SET Mid Cap Index.
In addition, Advanced Information Technology Plc (AIT), Amarin Printing and Publishing Plc(AMARIN), Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Plc (BAFS), Ekachai Medical Care Plc (EKH), FN Factory Outlet Plc(FN), Global Green Chemicals Plc(GGC), HWA Fong Rubber Thailand Plc (HFT), Lam Soon Thailand Plc (LST), Prima Marine Plc (PRM), Seafco Plc (SEAFCO), Sriracha Construction Plc (SRICHA), TOA Paint Thailand Plc (TOA), TPI Polene Power Plc (TPIPP) and Univanich Palm Oil Plc(UVAN) will be included in the FTSE SET Shariah Index.
All constituent changes take effect at the start of business on December18. The next review will take place in June.
