HUBBA accesses Google entrepreneurs programme

CO-WORKING space provider HUBBA has linked up with Google to help Thai startups and entrepreneurs benefit from the Google for Entrepreneurs programme.

Amarit Charoenphan, founder and chief executive officer of HUBBA, said under the collaboration, HUBBA members can take advantage of Google for Entrepreneurs’ global network and resources, co-working space and community programmes across 135 countries.
HUBBA is Thailand's first co-working space provider. Currently, it has three co-working hubs in Bangkok, providing Thai entrepreneurs ample space, resources, and tools in the early stage of their businesses in addition to a wide range of services including an online digital platform (HUBBA connect), workshops, community activities, and networking opportunities. “With all our resources, we are evolving into a one-stop platform for entrepreneurs,” said Amarit.
HUBBA is the country’s first tech hub partner of Google for Entrepreneurs in Thailand.
Michael Kim of Google for Entrepreneurs APAC Partnership Lead, who cultivates the Google for Entrepreneurs network across Asia Pacific, said Google for Entrepreneurs is focused on providing the best of Google's resources to global partner networks and it is thrilled to collaborate with HUBBA.
Google for Entrepreneurs has 50 partners worldwide. In Asia there are 10 partners including HUBBA, KIBAR in Indonesia and Impact Hub Singapore.
“We have more than 50 partners worldwide spanning from Seoul to Singapore, Sydney, Sao Paulo, San Francisco, Poland to Dubai and beyond. We have partners in South Korea, Australia and China among other countries too,” said Kim.
As a member of the Google for Entrepreneurs network, HUBBA members and the greater Bangkok startup community will have access to new resources including training and mentorship opportunities and access to Google programmes and products including Google for Entrepreneurs global programmes, a global network, and Google resources (product and local and international mentorship from Google advisers).
Members can apply to join Google for Entrepreneurs global programmes, including Google for Entrepreneurs Exchange, a series of week-long, vertically-specific global immersion programmes aimed at helping startups gain access into new markets and insights, and Google Demo Day, an event that brings together a diverse group of startups from around the world to showcase their technology and meet top investors and mentors in Silicon Valley.
