Convenience store launch for iflix

Entertainment provider iflix launched a new offline payment method today, making iflix subscriptions available in over 2,500 convenience stores nationwide. Customers in Thailand can now purchase an iflix subscription at any Family Mart, Tesco Lotus or Tesco Lotus Express with no credit card required.

One-month and three-month iflix subscription gift cards are available at Bt100 and Bt275 respectively. Customers must log on to iflix.com/redeem and enter the voucher code under a scratch-off strip on the back of the gift card.
New subscribers are also being offered a complimentary one-month trial with access to all iflix services and content.
Now available to over 1 billion consumers across 25 territories throughout Asia and Africa, iflix has established itself as a market leader in video streaming.
Consumers can access a vast library of top Hollywood, regional and Thai TV shows and movies, including many first-run exclusives and award-winning programmes.
Each subscription allows users to access the service on up to five devices, including phones, laptops, tablets and TVs.
Head of marketing for iflix Thailand, Artima “Kimmy” Suraphongchai, said: “We are proud to partner with one of Thailand’s leading retail and convenience brands to provide alternative payment options for new and existing iflix customers. Now it is easier than ever for subscribers across Thailand to press play.”
