Packing trade show opens at Bitec

Organisers said this year sees the addition of a ninth hall, increasing the total area to more than 58,000 sqm, a 10 per cent increase from 2017 with an expected record number of over 50,000 attendees.
It will be held from June 13 to 16 at halls 98 to 106 at Bitec, Bangkok, from 10am to 6pm every day.
It features more than 5,000 advanced machinery solutions for all business sizes, from large enterprises to SMEs and startups, organisers said. 
There are 1,600 exhibitors from 45 countries, and 18 international pavilions from Australia, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the UK and US showcasing processing and packaging.
Dr Somchai Harnhiran, Deputy Minister of Industry, said: “Thailand 4.0, the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor and expanding GDP and exports are driving increased manufacturing demands for more supply, higher value and greater variety.
