THAI OIL REPORTS RISE IN NET PROFIT FOR FIRST HALF
Thai Oil Plc has announced a net profit of Bt10.4 billion in the first half of this year, an increase of 0.97 per cent from Bt10.3 billion for the same period of last year, thanks to higher retail prices, said Atikom Terbsiri , the company’s chief executive officer and president yesterday.
He added that the company is continuing its investments in the expansion and development of logistic facilities, plant maintenance services among others under its five-year budget of Bt13 billion ($404 million). Up to US$244 million will be spent this year, followed by US$138 million in the year 2019, and US$22 million in 2020.
