Gathering of provincial champions
THE OFFICE of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (OSMEP) has announced the list of 154 provincial champions for the coming SME Provincial Champions 2018 –an event of exhibitions and trade fair, to be held from September 7-9 at The Future Park in Pathum Thani Province.
The event is expected to help increase the income participating SMEs.
Suwanchai Lohawattanakul, OSMEP director, recently launched the event at a press conference and introduced the 154 provincial champions.
They will showcase their products under the theme of “Eat Shop Travel through 77 provinces in one place.”
It will feature exhibition booths, a seminar under the topic “Technique of Successful in Business in 4.0 era” and business matching between exhibitors and representatives from department stores and modern trade dealers.
The SME Provincial Champions Programme is a project initiated by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha who has always supported the sustainable growth of SMEs.
In year 2018, there are 1,063 candidates applied for the program but only 462 candidates pass the qualifying process (six candidates per province) towards process of improving management potential and improving product and service in preparation to be an entrepreneur in the Thailand 4.0 era.
