Contest for Best Blog Awards now open, with backing from CP All

With the aim of supporting and inspiring online writers or bloggers, CP All (Public) has joined with the Thai Webmaster Association (TWA) and Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) to organise the second Thailand Best Blog Awards 2018 by CP ALL (TBBA).

This year’s awards on the theme of “Blogalisation … now or never” will recognise quality online writing by Thai bloggers that serves the needs of readers and passes on information through creating unique content.
CP All’s involvement follows on the heels of their involvement with the 7 Book Awards, an ongoing project that has promoted and inspired Thai writers for over 15 years, notes Banyat Kamnoonwatana, the company’s assistant vice president. The company has a corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy to encourage education, reading and learning for Thai people, and particularly youth.
CP All sees the involvement with the Best Blog Awards as expanding their scope from recognising “ink writers” to doing the same for digital writers, or bloggers.
With their partners, CP All also organised the organizing Blogger’s Society by CP All in 2017 “in an effort to support and promote ‘New Gen’ online bloggers by giving them a forum to develop and showcase their works”, said Banyat in a press release on Wednesday.
Waroros Rojana, president of Thai Webmaster Association, welcome CP All’s participation in the effort to encourage and develop the skills of Thai bloggers to ensure readers get high quality and ethical content.
Assoc Professor Chintawee Kasemsuk, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Arts, Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) said: “From an educational institute’s perspective, [our faculty] has realised that the digital world increasingly impacts on everyone’s daily life. If youth – who are our future – consume low quality or obscene content, the future could be adversely impacted. The Institute supports Thailand Best Blog Awards 2018 by CP ALL to ensure ongoing support that enables a new generation of bloggers to produce quality and creative online work that engages society and Thai youth into the future.”
Thailand Best Blog Awards 2018 by CP All has 10 award categories for quality writing that explores issues of lifestyle. The awards ceremony will be held on November 29. Submissions to the competition are open from October 1 to 25 via the website or Facebook page.
