AUTO PLAN IN THE WORKS

The Industry Ministry is working with other state agencies to draw up a five-year (2019-23) automotive industry development master plan, aiming to woo owners of electric car technology to set up plants in Thailand, according to the Office of Industrial Economics’ director-general Nattapol Rangsitpol.

The master plan is expected to be completely drawn up in the second quarter of next year.
Nattapol said the measures to promote the development of eco-electric cars are expected to be finished this year.

LOWER FEES SOUGHT 

The Association of Securities Companies (Asco) wants to see a cut in commission fees for securities trading to cope with the current market conditions, and has proposed the changes to its board, which meets tomorrow. 

SPECTRA RULES PROGRESS

The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission's subcommittee on telecom affairs yesterday approved the draft rules governing the reclamation of idle spectra from state agencies.
The draft will be submitted to the NBTC board's for consideration on November 20, NBTC secretary-general Takorn Tantasith said.
