It will allow JD Central sellers to access an estimated 13 million shoppers in the country as Thailand’s e-commerce continues to grow rapidly at 22 per cent a year.
Shoppers and sellers on JD Central will benefit from the delivery service quality, full tracking visibility and highly accessible DHL ServicePoint network offered by DHL eCommerce, a division of the world’s leading logistics company, Deutsche Post DHL Group, to drop off and pick up parcels.
Sellers will be able to integrate their orders through API integration and have their parcels delivered the same or next day in greater Bangkok.
The nationwide coverage also enables next-day delivery upcountry and delivery in two to three days in remote areas.
DHL eCommerce also offers a market cash-on-delivery (COD) service in Thailand, allowing sellers to meet Thailand consumers’ strong preference for COD as a payment method.
Over 70 per cent of all online transactions in Thailand are paid through COD, and a secure and fast remittance service is needed to ensure smooth cash flow for sellers, particularly small businesses and entrepreneurs.
“At JD Central, we value only the best of quality products, so our customers can be assured that they will receive only 100 per cent authentic goods from their beloved brands,” said Vincent Yang, Chief Executive Officer of JD Central.
