PTTEP UNIT TO SUPPLY LNG TO SHELL COMPANY
Mozambique LNG1 Co Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of PTT Exploration and Production Plc (PTTEP), has signed an agreement with Shell International Trading Middle East Ltd on the sale of liquid natural gas (LNG) to the latter at two million tonnes a year for 13 years, the company's president and chief executive officer Phongsthorn Thavisin said yesterday.
Currently, Mozambique LNG1 Co Pte Ltd is now under contracts to supply totally 7.5 million tonnes a year, following the total 2.6 million tonnes a year to Tokyo Gas Co Ltd and Centrica LNG Co Ltd, CNOOC Gas and Power Singapore Trading & Marketing Pte Ltd (1.5 million tonnes a year), he said.
