PTG Energy looks to boost coffee franchises

Pitak Ratchakitprakarn, CEO of PTG Energy, said that the company has kicked off franchise businesses of Pun Thai Coffee and Coffee World to encourage anyone who wants to run a coffee shop.

For non-oil business in 2019, the company is targeting sales growth of 50-60 per cent. Currently, the company operates more than 504 retail outlets of convenience store Max Mart, Pun Thai Coffee, Coffee World, Krua Ban Jit Thai Dishes, Service and Maintenance for Trucks, Autobacs and Max Camp. 
Furthermore, the company plans to expand its service stations to 2,000 branches from 1,883 at the end of 2018.  
Pharit Anugulthanakarn of Pun Thai Coffee Company Limited said the launch of the franchise of Pun Thai Coffee and Coffee World will help encourage new generations and graduates who want to start a coffee shop. At the end of 2018, Pun Thai Coffee branch stood at 203 while Coffee World recorded 71.
For those interested in purchasing a franchise, Pun Thai Coffee requires an investment of Bt2.3 million and an investment of Coffee World is Bt3.3 million. The people who buy a franchise will receive shop operational training, drink recipe creation, raw materials, sales and marketing promotion, a cash register system and a back office, IT, brand rights and trademark to other services.
